Building collaborative teams to match strategy to situation is one of Jen’s specialties. In her current role, she works with a diverse array of global learning designers, visual designers, editors, producers, developers, subject matter experts, and project managers to create live, eLearning, and blended learning modules, interactive courses, programs, and curricula. Over the past several years, Jen’s teams have created hundreds of eLearning episodes, winning Anthem, Brandon Hall, and Telly industry awards each year.
Engaging adult learners and helping organizations meet their learning goals are the focus of Jen’s career. During her 20 or so years in publishing, she created highly specialized educational content, yet all her solutions have one thing in common—they help learners get from Point A to Point B to get on with their life’s work. As a learning specialist, Jen pairs evidence-based strategy to audiences in service of designing the most relevant, impactful experience possible.
While working full-time, Jen recently received her Doctor of Education from Vanderbilt University, Peabody College’s “Leadership and Learning in Organizations” program.
Jen holds a Master of Science in Education and a graduate certificate in instructional design; a Master of Arts in English; and a Bachelor of Arts in English. Other certifications include, Leaders of Learning (Harvard X) and 400 hours of vinyasa yoga training.
Jen is a yogi and a lifelong learner. New pursuits include vibe coding and working with agentic AI. She’s also an avid reader, intrepid cook, and beginner gardener … now that she has a yard. While recovering from a back injury, Jen rediscovered her Pilates roots and is bringing her movement routine to local studios for mind-body pop-ups and workshops.
Jen loves traveling and skiing—especially traveling to ski. The past few winters, Jen volunteered with Greek Peak Adaptive Snow Sports program to help people with disabilities improve their skiing and have fun outdoors.
